"For 125 years, Coke’s secret recipe has remained one of the most heavily guarded trade secrets in the world."
... And we got to see the fault that guards it!
Connor loves the Coke brand. He loves to drink it, but more-so, he just loves the history and geniuses behind it. While we were at the World of Coca-Cola, I'm pretty sure he read every little description/fact there was written on the walls, tables, displays, etc. :)
This was my favorite fact we learned;
To summarize;
Haddon Sundblom, sketched images of Santa Claus for a Coke campaign. Unlike other versions of Santa Claus (a stern, scary figure), Sundblom portrayed him as warm and friendly, which shaped the way we view S.C. today! So, thanks to Haddon Sundblom sketching S.C. as a jolly ol' fella drinking a Coke, we have the "jolly old Saint Nick" tradition today!
It was a super fun experience, if you're ever in Atlanta, you have to go. :)
After the World of Coke, we went this popular park that everyone talks about called Piedmont Park.
And boy, is it work talking about!
IT'S HUGE!
It has beautiful views, an enormous dog park (my fav), a few play grounds, multiple sport's corts, plenty of grass and space, and tons of squirrels (so distracting). :)
