Those (^) are Connor's test scores from his FINAL tests for the program!

PROUD, PROUD, PROUD, PROUD WIFE!

Since last Monday, Connor has been working his butt off taking these brutally crucial tests. Yesterday was his fifth and FINAL test! YAY! We celebrated by going to a dessert party with some friends from our ward. :) Which got me thinking how thankful I am for the AT&T BSLDP program; the adventures it's brought us on, the fiends we've made, and things we've been able to experience. But mostly because I feel like it's taught Connor a lot about himself, and he's been able to grow and learn so much. I can't wait to see all his hard work from this program pay off and I'm so excited to see where he'll go with his career. Determination and drive will never be lacking with Connor- AT&T is lucky to have him!!! As am I. :)

I can't resist!

In honor of her turning 1 month old, I HAD to post about my PERFECT baby sister once more...
I just can't handle her teeny-tiny cuteness!

LOOK AT THAT FACE!!! ^^

And my favorite...

I am dying to get home and snuggle her! I can barley hold it in.
Love love love little Miss Lilly Jo!! xoxoxo

Volunteer's

I also forgot to write about the ADA (American Diabetes Association) event we volunteered at- a HUGE diabetes expo!

The group we volunteer with is the Inter-Tribal Council of AT&T Employee's (ICAE) - Children of the Red Feather. So a group of AT&T Employee's helping raise awareness for diabetes within the Native American community.
They're a lot of fun :)

re-organizing the table... of course. :)

YES. This is real. We were DYING!

Thanksgiving

Finally writing about THANKSGIVING... two weeks late... Oops.

We had a spectacular Thanksgiving! Darin came into town, so that was fun and exciting for us! He flew in Wednesday and flew out on Sunday night.

Wednesday we visited Connor's work, ate, and went and saw Interstellar in IMax... and wow. That movie is a lot to take in! We all left with headaches, lol.

Thursday, Thanksgiving, we ate at Ruth's Chris (amazing!), went to another movie - the new Hunger Games, and then, to WALMART! Yes, we went Black Friday shopping! More-so, Black Friday people watching though. That was an adventure!!

Friday we did a little bit of Black Friday shopping, and visited the World of Coke... again!! It just gets better. :) We love it!

The rest of the weekend we relaxed, ate, watched movies at our APT, and drove around showing Darin the town.
Thanks a million to Darin, for helping us have one of the best weeks we've had since we've been here!  TWO more weeks and we'll be home to see all of our family. :) We're excited!! We'll be home from Christmas Eve until Jan 3rd-- hope to see you!

JAZZ game

(I'm not very good at posting after things happen, it usually takes me like a week... oops.)

Last Wednesday, we went to the Utah JAZZ v.s. Atlanta HAWKS basketball game! I rode MARTA to Connor's work (it stops right beneath the AT&T building), and he and Steve (co-worker / the other UT guy) jumped on and we rode a couple more stops to the Philips Arena!

MARTA is Atlanta's front-runner-like public transportation, except more of a old-rollercoaster-danger-like feeling. Connor rides it every morning and night to and home from work. This was only my second time riding it and I realized how much fun it isn't! Haha. I'm glad Connor has a good attitude about it, because I would not be happy if I had to ride it twice everyday.

Anyway, the game...

It was a close game, the Jazz almost won! But bareyly lost it in the last quarter. It was a fun game to be at, and another fun adventure to experience in the ATL culture- aka: feeling like I'm going to get killed being in the hood. ;) Just kidding.

Lillian Jo

I'M A BIG SISTER!
On November 7th, a 5-pound 11-ounce 19-inch baby girl was born! Coming about a month early,  Lillian (Lilly) Jo Houghton arrived!

Is she not the cutest little thing!?
One more day and we could've had the same bday. ;)
I'm so sad I'm not home to see her, but I'm overly happy for my dad and Jordie!!!!

Big brother! Now he has two little sisters. :)

She's SO tiny!! Ah! I can't wait to hold her!!!!

Cutest little family ever!

Thanks to gma Merilee for sending me all the pics!

Love you papa-bear and Jord! CONGRATS!

BIRTHDAY

Best Birthday EVER!

I don't know why, but this year I was actually super excited for my birthday! And it definitely exceeded all expectations! Thanks to Connor.
Have I mentioned he's the best?

Thursday evening, he told me he had two surprises for me... but he left it one at work! (Lol)
Friday
The first one was getting my hair cut! I needed a haircut for soo long but never made time to get one, so he made time for me. Eee! After I got my hair cut I drove downtown to have lunch with him (my favorite) and he gave me my second surprise -

a mani, pedi, and massage! What! I was so happy!
I don't remember the last time I had a mani/pedi... really, I don't.
It. Was. Amazing! I may have enjoyed it a little too much.

Afterwards, I picked Connor up from the train station and we went to get him new glasses!
They had a PhotoBooth - how cool is that!?
(yes, he's choking me in the bottom  pic. lol)
On our way home, we stopped at Walmart to get a RedBox, and somehow, Connor (super sneaky) bought me my faaaavorite flowers when I walked away for a second!

He set them on a bench and as we walked by...
C: "Aren't those the flowers you like?"
Me: "YES!!! Those are the ones! I haven't seen them at Walmart tho-"
C: "Well they're yours!!"

Eeek!
Definitely one of my favorite parts of my birthday. :)

SATURDAY

We woke up at 7:30 A.M. and drove downtown to do a 5K walk for diabetes put on by the American Diabetes Association!

(as some of you know) The ADA helped out the Razor Crusaders with our Ride for Diabetes! They're the ones that hosted the big finish line party/carnival, had the stage brought in, etc. They're awesome! They invited the Razor Crusaders to be a part of the 5K walk for diabetes in Utah and Connor and I were sad we couldn't make it. So we figured we'd help support by doing the walk here in ATL... That just happened to fall on my bday! Lol.
It was at Turner Field (the Brave's Stadium)

The first two laps were around the stadium/blechers.
The third and final lap was walking around the field!

It was a fun adventure! We got to experience a little bit more of the Atlanta culture here!
(Drumline... dancing... and some crazies (below). Lol)

Got to wear my BIRTHDAY socks!

After the walk and getting ready, we went to.... COSTA VIDA!
Of course, it was amazing! :)

Then we drove to the Mall of Georgia to shop, shop, shop!

After shopping until we couldn't shop anymore, we came home to this...

I go teaching with the sister missionaries sometimes and I guess mentioned when my bday was, and they remembered! It was really sweet of them!

All the texts, calls, and letters from everybody made me super happy!
So THANK YOU everybody!

My favorite letters were from my favorite little munchkins - Sydney and Kyler! Sydney's card was a cute, sweet, "sister" card, and Kyler's was adorable and made me laugh really hard! I could only imagine them picking out the "perfect card" for Lecki. ;) They're the best.

My bday couldn't have been any better!
Connor made sure my day was PERFECT in every way.
I l o v e him!

OOO! I also (randomly) got to be on the Atlanta news this week! LOL!

My whole birthday week was just amazing! Florida, I got more time with Connor than usual, being on the news, all the surprises, adventures, and just everything
Most certainly one for the books. :)

November 7th & 8th, 2014 (BIRTHDAY).

Road Trip

... To FLORIDA!

Last weekend Connor's dad had a work conference in Florida only 5 hours from us, so he invited us to come down for the weekend - we obviously couldn't pass it up! It was such a great, much-needed, getaway!

We've felt like we haven't had any breaks since we've been in Atlanta, so Connor took Monday off work, and we just enjoyed relaxing weekend.

Being with Darin made it even better! He's the first family member we've been able to see since we moved.  We're super grateful for him!!

While Darin was at meetings on Monday morning, Connor and I (and some of Darin's co-worker's wives) went and rode SEGWAYS!!!

It's a lot harder than it looks...
But SO fun!

This weekend was also the start of my BIRTHDAY WEEK! Eee.
